Midwest Testing has been installing new radio read meters for properties in the City of Cokato. Once a new meter is installed property owners will no longer need to read meters manually. The city will be able to read the new meters on a monthly basis. If you have not yet scheduled an appointment to have a new meter installed please contact Midwest Testing at (763) 274-9109 or go to their website at midwest-testing.com
New Meter Readings
Once a new meter has been installed at a property the city will be reading the meter monthly. Residents, who have new meters installed, are no longer required to write-in meter readings on their billing stubs. Readings will be taken on the last day of the month. Usage, for billing purposes, will be calculated from the first day of the month to the last day of the month.
*Residents with the old meter style are still responsible for turning in monthly meter readings with utility payments. Failure to turn in a meter reading will result in an estimated bill that may not accurately reflect water/sewer usage.
*Meter readings can be called in to (320) 286-5505 or emailed to the Deputy Clerk at email@example.com
