New Meter Information
Once a new meter has been installed at a property the city will be reading the meter monthly. Residents, who have the new meters installed, are no longer required to write-in meter readings on their billing stubs. Readings will be taken on the last day of the month. Usage, for billing purposes, will be calculated from the first day of the month to the last day of the month. The City of Cokato bills monthly for Water and Sewer usage. Bills are generally sent out around the 10th of each month and are due by the last day of the month.

*Leak means that at least .25 gallons of water/hour have gone through the meter for at least a consecutive 24 hour period.
*Burst means that at least 5 gallons of water/minute have gone through the meter for at least a consecutive 30 minute period.
