Council meetings are the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall at 255 Broadway Avenue South (unless otherwise noted).

* Small Cities Grant Survey – Thank you to all who have completed the Small Cities Development Program survey.   There has been enough interest received for the residential program to move forward. At this time the city is extending the deadline to receive commercial applications to move forward with that program as well. Help us make that happen by filling out the application below by September 25, 2020.

* Cokato City Wide Clean-Up – The City Wide Clean-Up will be held on Saturday, September 26th from 8:00am – Noon at the Cokato Public Works Garage located at 695 Cokato St E. Click on the link below for more information.

* CARES Act Funding - The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, passed on March 27, 2020, provides over $2 trillion in federal economic relief to protect the American
people from the public health and economic impacts of COVID-19. The CARES Act provides assistance for American workers, families and small businesses and preserves jobs for American industries. The City of Cokato has been allocated $208,090 through the CARES Act and by using its allowed discretion to determine what payments are necessary, has allocated funds for grants of up to $6,000.00. Please read the following policy to see if you qualify and return the Fund Application by October 8th at 4:30pm to Cokato City Hall.

* City of Cokato – Citizen SurveyWe want your feedback! Please consider taking a few minutes to complete the Citizen Survey. Your input is a valuable tool that will be used to improve city services.

 

* Cokato Parks are Open – Effective immediately all City of Cokato parks/playgrounds are open and available to the public for use with the following rules in place:

  • Park equipment is NOT being cleaned or sanitized.
  • Please wash your hands after using the equipment.
  • Continue to use Social Distancing from non-household individuals.

*Central City Road Project  Newsletters - Work has begun on the Central City Road & Utility Project – Phase I as of Friday April 24th and is schedule to go through December 2020. For more information regarding the scope of the project please click on the following newsletters:
